Team Spirit's third Aegis: The International 2026, and how to follow Dota 2
The International 2026 finished in Shanghai on 23 August with a record no team had reached before. Here's the recap, and how to get Telegram alerts for your team's next match.

How the grand final went
Team Spirit beat Team Vision 3–2 in the best-of-five grand final at the SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai, closing out The International 2026 after a group stage that began on 13 August and playoffs that ran from 20 to 23 August.
It was Team Spirit's third Aegis of Champions, making them the first organisation in the tournament's history to win The International three times. The prize pool reached roughly $3.9 million, built from a $1.6 million base plus a share of supporter bundle sales.
Following esports in Veentry
Search for your team, a player, or the tournament itself and tap Follow. Veentry tracks Dota 2 alongside CS2, League of Legends and other disciplines, so one hub covers every roster you care about instead of one app per game.
Alerts are yours to shape: a ping when a series is about to start is enough for most people, and results-only works well for a tournament you're following casually across a different time zone.
Between the majors
The competitive calendar barely pauses after TI — regional leagues and qualifiers pick up within weeks. Follow the teams now and the next series announces itself, whether or not it happens while you're awake.
