SofaScore alternative: one follow list for sport, esports and markets
SofaScore is built for depth: player ratings, heatmaps and statistics for every match. Veentry sits at the other end — one short message when something you follow starts or finishes, in Telegram or Discord, at the time you choose.
Where SofaScore is the better tool
If you want to know how a match went — who created the chances, which player rated highest, how possession shifted — use SofaScore. Its statistics, player ratings and heatmaps go far beyond anything Veentry shows, and its app sends goal, red card and kick-off notifications for the teams, leagues and players you follow.
Veentry has none of that analysis and does not pretend to. It tells you that a match is about to start and how it ended, and links to the event.
Where Veentry is different: one list for everything
A Veentry follow list can mix a football club, a CS2 roster, a Formula 1 driver, a coin and a fashion publication. Each sends what you picked for it — the match start, a result per map or session, new articles — as a message in the messenger you already read.
So the real question is less “which app has better football data” and more “do I want another app on my phone, or a few messages where I already am”. For deep match data, SofaScore. For knowing when to look, Veentry.
Timing and spoilers, set per follow
Every follow carries its own schedule: at once, a fixed time before kick-off, or before or after events on chosen weekdays at a chosen hour. A team playing in a far-off time zone can report on its night match the next morning, with your coffee.
If you watch on delay, “Hide results” sends winners, scores and podiums as a spoiler you tap to reveal, in Telegram and in Discord alike.
What is still missing
Match starts and results are there today; goal, card and substitution alerts are planned, and so are price alerts for coins. There are no statistics, ratings or lineups — Veentry is not trying to replace what SofaScore does well.
FAQ
Does Veentry have player ratings or match statistics like SofaScore?
No. Veentry sends match starts and results as messages and links to the event; it has no ratings, heatmaps or per-match statistics. For those, SofaScore is the better tool.
Can I get match alerts in Telegram instead of an app?
Yes. Veentry sends match start and result alerts to Telegram or Discord for the teams, players, tournaments and drivers you follow, at the time you choose. Goal, card and substitution alerts are planned.
Does Veentry cover esports?
Yes: CS2, Dota 2 and League of Legends, with a result after every map, in the same follow list as football and Formula 1.
