Maggie Clancy

Maggie Clancy is the digital director of Fairchild Media Group, overseeing digital coverage across WWD, Footwear News and Beauty Inc. In more than 15 years in digital media, she has covered everything from celebrity shoes and beauty trends to Los Angeles City Council and the county sheriff’s department. Before joining WWD, Clancy was a freelance writer and managing editor and reporter at the reader-funded newsroom Knock LA, where she covered Los Angeles politics and helped edit “A Tradition of Violence,” an investigation into deputy gangs inside the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Clancy lives in Los Angeles and fronts a seven-piece Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater cover band in what remains of her spare time.
