Rica Cerbarano is an independent curator, writer, and editor specialising in photography. Her curatorial research focuses mainly on collaborative and cross-disciplinary practices and the generative role of photographic installations in public space. As a writer, she contributed to FOAM, Camera Austria, Vogue Italia, Over Journal, and other prominent magazines. She has collaborated with the PhotoVogue Festival since its very first edition and has served as the Portfolio Reviews Coordinator since 2020. In addition to editorial collaborations, she works as a curator and exhibition manager for various festivals, institutions and non-profit organisations. Rica is the co-founder of the Kublaiklan collective, which explores accessible ways of interacting with photography through the design of exhibitions and educational activities, often with a participatory approach. The collective curated exhibitions at Images Vevey (Switzerland), Gibellina PhotoRoad (Italy), Cortona On The Move (Italy), Photoszene Festival (Germany), and others.
