Article: 'Flesh-Eating' Bacteria: 7 Deaths Reported, Cases Rising on Gulf Coast

At least 23 cases of a "flesh-eating" bacteria, Vibrio vulnificus, have been reported along the Gulf Coast in parts of Florida and Louisiana. A total of 7 people have died from the infection, which may result from swimming in affected waters or eating undercooked seafood.
