Jaden Thompson started her role as fashion market editor at Footwear News in July 2025. She joined the team as a news reporter in June 2024 after serving as an editorial intern at Variety. Her byline has also appeared in The Hollywood Reporter and Gold Derby. A native of West Orange, New Jersey, Jaden graduated from Harvard University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in History and Literature and African American Studies. She got her start in journalism writing and editing for The Harvard Crimson, where she served as arts chair. She covered a range of arts-related content including the Cannes Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival.
